Yesterday, Chad's parents took Haylee for a "Fun With Grandparents Day" which gave Jack and me a day with just the two of us. We had a fun day together...
Our first stop was Jack's favorite store: The White Elephant. We had a great time looking at all the toys, and I have a very long list of things he wants for his birthday.
After the White Elephant, we headed to the Milk Bottle restaurant in our neighborhood to have a milkshake (which we should have shared).
I don't know, do you think he likes chocolate milkshakes??
Then, we walked across the street to a new bookstore. Jack really liked looking at the very age-appropriate book,
Mummies.
After our outing, we came home and played pirates and soldiers together. I loved having a day with my little guy! It's hard to believe he'll be four in just 2 days...

What a fun day just the two of you. I love white elephant & I definitely would've ordered two shakes. And probably would if I went with Clara too - even though she might only consume an eighth of it ;).

What a fun day for you and Jack! I would love to do that with Drew when Kaleb is a little older... and leave him with Hank. Happy Belated Birthday to Jack! I can't believe we have 4 year olds!!! They grow up wayyyy to fast! Hope all is well!
