But I'm still not sure how I feel about it. It is a boy's rite of passage, I suppose.
And how could I be opposed to it when it makes them so happy? By the way, it's a bb gun.
(PS Notice the Lego Star Wars shirt that Grandma Johnson let Jack pick out at the store recently. He tells me, "I'm going to wear this shirt for 200 days!" 2 down, 198 to go!) :)

It was fun to have Jack and Haylee visit last week. On Thursday morning I announced that I was taking them to the Dollar store so they could each pick out a toy.(Big Whoop) At Jack's suggestion we soon found ourselves at WalMart with a list of 5 items apiece, one of which was an Indiana Jones shirt. Not finding that, Jack happily landed upon a Star Wars shirt. Glad it will clothe him for the rest of the year!
Okay, hysterical. I guess we have lots to look forward to, since Clara is just starting to have her own opinion about things ;). Fun that he can share great memories with his dad!
I LOVE this post! :) :) Not sure why, but it made me think of "A Christmas Story" (the red rider bb gun..."you'll shoot your eye out!" :)
