August Days

During pregnancy, I can't ride my horse, which is a bummer.  But, I get to work with her still periodically.  Chad took these pictures the other night while I was lunging her, and I thought they turned out kind of neat.  If you know of anyone who'd like to lease a horse for a year, let me know!  Since I probably won't be able to ride for about a year, I would love to see her get ridden often and kept in shape.  Or, if you'd like to come ride her, let me know! :)  I miss riding and can't wait to get back to it.  I'm sure with 3 small children, I'll have tons of time to ride, right?

 My Aunt Janice and Uncle Ivan from Minnesota were in the area for the last couple of weeks, and we got to have a short visit with them.  It was great to see them! :)

Chad's mom still has the record player and records from when Chad and Heidi were little.  The kids loved listening to some stories on tape.
