We made a quick trip down to Hermiston today to meet our new niece and cousin, Shannon Leah. Isn't she just the most precious little baby? You can get the exact stats at Katie's blog here.
The kids were very excited to meet her and to see their cousin Mitchell.
Haylee was especially excited to hold Baby Shannon and is quite in love with her new little cousin. I think she may be a fan of her little sister as well. Let's hope this is a sign of good things to come. :)
Jack and Mitchell had a fun time playing together. Jack wanted to get Mitch some Legos and put them together for him. (He can now read the instructions and put Lego creations together--can you hear Chad and me rejoicing?) Mitch was obliging, and now we've introduced him to the wonderful world of Legos. You're welcome, Bryan and Katie.
Rachel made it down for the day as well.
Did I mention Haylee was excited to meet Shannon?
It should be a fun-filled Thanksgiving this year! Until then, we're praying for some good sleep and a great adjustment for the Johnson family!

HOW CUTE! Great pictures of a fun day. Wish we could have been there too.
So glad you made it down! It's going to be fun to have the kids play so well together at future gatherings. Now, we just need Avery to join us . . .
What precious pictures of Haylee holding her cousin. She is going to LOVE being a big sister. And hurrah for cousins close in age. What a blessing! Glad you got to make the trip over to meet her!
