...Well, not really just sitting around waiting for Avery to be born. There is still lots to be done before she enters the world! But, we are getting excited for her to make her appearance, Lord willing in a couple of weeks. Hard to believe we'll be growing from a family of 4 to a family of 5. Here are a few pictures from the last couple weeks.
Jack likes to climb onto this stump in the backyard and jump off it. He's enjoyed talking Chad's ear off hanging out with Chad as he cleans up the yard for winter.
While they have their moments, these two sure enjoy playing together most days. It's fun to hear the little games and situations they think up. It's a good thing Haylee's up for anything, because most of the time, they do what Jack wants to do. Which is why she loves playing with pirates, legos and adventure guys. It'll be interesting to see where Avery fits into their play time when she's a bit older.
Our lone Christmas decoration, but the most important one, right? :) Chad and Jack spent an afternoon on Greenbluff finding the perfect tree. It was a highlight of Jack's life, and the tree makes things feel festive and cozy. I'm not sure how many more decorations we'll put up. I'll feel good if we can at least get the rest of the boxes unpacked in the next two weeks! :)

Thanks for the lively and humorous update. Made dad & I laugh as we motor across the state. Can't wait for the "festivities" next Wednesday.
Thinking of you and praying lots for you in the next few weeks! Can't wait to hear the news of Avery's safe arrival. Hope it's the best Christmas yet for your family!!!
